SL14B Event

There is still time to catch the 60+ wonderful gifts from some of SL's very talented designers!  The SL14B Event ends on June 26th.  Here you will find a few of the fun finds I got while I was there.

My Dress is from LYBRA.  In this picture you can't see just how adorable it is, but it has a soft floral skirt, white bodice and blue belt with a heart belt buckle.  Hair is from Alice Project.  They are actually giving away 3 hair styles, all with 15 colors to chose from.  My super fun cat hear headphones are from Exxess and you can do all kinds of customization with the hud.  My necklace which also came with earrings, bracelets and rings are from Construct and have a hud to change the gemstones and the metal colors.

I think my favorite in this picture has to be the adorable pets from Titans!  The blue one is Sky and the pink one is Cherry.  They both come in a carry me and wear me version and their eyes even blink!  OMG I love love love!!!!

Visit any of the 3 sims hosting the event.  They are all the same but this way everyone gets in and there is not as much lag.

SL14B - Second Life's 14th Birthday Shopping Event (FREE GIFTS!)

First Post for SL14B

Hurry if you want in on the 60+ great gifts many of SL's most talented designers have put out for you.  Plus there are discounts on the items they have in their mini-stores here!  The event just runs till June 26th.  It's set up on 3 sims, all have the same thing, so there is a lot less lag and everyone gets in.

Shown is a wonderful dress from APHORISM! called Autumn Cami Dress.  Matching it perfectly is the heels from KC Couture called Hedy Heels.  They actually match everything with a 40 color hud and the ability to customize the shoe, sole, inside sole, metals, etc.  They pose was on of 5 Bento poses as a gift from For City and they are all 5 great.  Hair is the gift from Tableau Vivant and has 24 different colors to choose from.

Wanted you to really get to see the beautiful bracelet from Z O O M called the To Love Bracelet that comes in 3 metal choices and the ability to click on it to resize.   Also shown are the nails from Alme called Pink Dream.  There are 4 choices for hands and feet for just about every body/hand/feet out there.

Is FREE really FREE??

That is a good question.  Here FREE means L$0 or L$1.  If you have to join a group to get a free gift the group must also be L$0 or no more that L$1.

Hunts and group gifts are a great source of good quality free items.  There are places like Free Dove that have good items but not all are great.  Most freebie places have very old stuff.  Free Dove is one of the better places to go.

There are a few groups that are also free to join that the sponsoring stores place new items just for members of that group.  I'll explain that more in another blog, but it's not joining the stores group (thought that will usually get you another free item) but joining a group of freebie hunters and wearing that tag to get the gift.

Tag??  What do you mean by TAG?

For any new players, wearing a tag is going into your groups, choosing the group you are wanting to wear that tag, then click activate.  It will change what it says above your head, but most importantly, it lets you get the group gifts that are offered.
